These Terms and Conditions apply to all driver rental services provided by Driver Rental Services. By booking or using our services, the customer agrees to the following terms.
1. Service Overview
Our service provides trained and licensed drivers to operate the customer’s own vehicle. The customer must ensure that the vehicle is roadworthy, insured, and compliant with local regulations. The company may refuse or discontinue service if the vehicle is unsafe, illegal, or mechanically unfit to drive.
2. Booking and Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate information during booking, including pickup location, timing, route, and any special instructions. Any changes to the booking must be communicated in advance. Customers are expected to treat drivers respectfully and ensure a safe environment while the service is being provided.
Customer responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the vehicle has valid insurance and required documents
- Providing correct trip details at the time of booking
- Maintaining a safe and respectful environment for the driver
- Taking responsibility for traffic fines resulting from instructions or vehicle condition
3. Driver Conduct and Limitations
Drivers provided by the company adhere to all traffic regulations and safety standards. They are instructed to prioritize safety and professional conduct at all times.
Drivers will not:
- Exceed speed limits or break traffic laws
- Drive a vehicle that is unsafe or unfit
- Engage in illegal or unethical activities
- Operate a vehicle under customer pressure to behave unsafely
4. Payment Terms
All service charges must be paid as per the agreed rate at the time of booking. Rates may include base fare, overtime, waiting charges, night allowance, or outstation fees. Payments must be settled at the end of the service or based on the agreed billing cycle.
Additional fees may apply for:
- Late-night or early-morning service
- Extended service time beyond the booking
- Outstation travel or long-distance routes
- Additional waiting time
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations should be made within the allowed cancellation window. Late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee. No refunds are provided for unused service hours once the driver has begun the assignment.
6. Liability and Safety
The company is not responsible for any mechanical breakdowns, vehicle damage, or delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen situations. The customer is fully responsible for their vehicle, including any existing or future mechanical issues during service.
The company is not liable for:
- Accidents caused by vehicle malfunction
- Penalties arising from vehicle documentation issues
- Loss of personal items left in the vehicle
- Delays due to traffic, weather, or emergencies
Company liability, if applicable, is limited strictly to the amount paid for the driver service.
7. Confidentiality
All customer information collected during the booking process is kept confidential and used solely for service operations unless disclosure is required by law.
8. Termination of Service
The company may terminate the service without refund if the customer engages in abusive behavior, makes unsafe requests, or provides a vehicle that does not meet safety standards. The customer may also terminate the service at any time but may still be responsible for applicable fees.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Nepal, and any disputes shall be resolved under the designated legal jurisdiction.
